On April 24-25, the Center for Cooperative Media at Montclair State University’s School of Communication and Media will host its first-ever annual conference, “Innovating the Local News Ecosystem.”
The conference will begin Thursday night, April 24, with a reception and keynote at the DuMont television studios at Montclair State University in Montclair, NJ. On Friday, April 25, media leaders from across the country will gather at the MSU conference center for a day of keynotes and break-out sessions that will touch on the major trends and innovations impacting local media.
Montclair State University is located within easy distance of midtown Manhattan and major transportation hubs in the NYC region. Train and bus service is available from Manhattan. Hotel rooms are being blocked within close distance of the university in New Jersey with shuttle service to the campus.
